"It’s a mystery of human chemistry and I don’t understand it, some people, as far as their senses are concerned, just feel like home."

This melted my heart, to see both of their families there to support them. This is love, and it is so beautiful.

I hope to have this type of joy one day.

Love knows no boundaries.
And there shouldn’t have to be any boundaries.

"If people refuse to look at you in a new light and they can only see you for what you were, only see you for the mistakes you’ve made, if they don’t realize that you are not your mistakes, then they have to go."

why the fuck would i ever need to name the plants. this is dumb.

ill remember the name when i can drive a pinecone

^^^^^ For one thing, a pinecone isn’t even a plant… It’s a seed of a tree. Also, the point of this picture is to show how far removed our culture is from the natural world. Why is comparing one’s knowledge of a leaf to that of a logo outrageously silly?
I don’t think this image is silly at all and it saddens me that most people do not see the message being conveyed here.  Once a great deal of our survival was based on knowing which plants were poisonous and which ones weren’t by the shape of leaves (and probably the leaves’ color and texture — I will admit how little detail there is in this picture, but we can still recognize the brands — so therefore, I would argue this image is still successful.) Nowadays, we live in a culture that does not know that much about the natural world or care to. Most of us, especially on the internet, know which logos go with which brand, but nothing about which leaves go with which plant. This picture speaks to how little we care to know about nature, in general, since it is not apart of our daily consumer-based lives.
I could continue this argument further to how societal pressure plays into this. That is, we know logos because we are too focus on buying things and we aren’t concerned about the bigger picture. But… I will hold off on that one for another day.
